Thumbs Up

Kogod School of Business ... The Wall Street Journal recently ranked AU's Kogod as the 42nd best business school in the nation, making it the only D.C.-area school to make the top 50.

Free Range Monkeys ... Apparently they've been around for 20 years, but we haven't noticed them until our intrepid April Astor discovered them at the National Zoo. These tiny monkeys get free range around the zoo, not unlike the mud monkeys on our campus.

KPU ... Well this is a surprise. Over the weekend, KPU broke the big news that former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev is coming to speak at Bender Arena this Tuesday.

Thumbs Down

Financial Aid ... We're not quite sure who to blame here, but with tuition costs going up and a codified financial aid system, it is becoming even more difficult for students to obtain financial aid.

Midterms before fall break ... Although midterms are always terrible things, could we not have them before fall break? On the other hand, it would also suck to have them after fall break. Is there a compromise here?

Summer is over ... OK, we're a little bit late on this one. Summer did, after all, end on the Sept. 22. Still, it's always sad to see summer go. Here's hoping for an easy fall and winter.

Section 202 hosts Connor Sturniolo and Gabrielle McNamee are joined by fellow Eagle staff member and phenomenal sports photographer, Josh Markowitz. Follow along as they discuss the United Football League and the benefits it provides for the world of professional football.
