Police Blotter

June 21 to July 11

The police blotter is compiled from the daily crime log issued by the Department of Public Safety. During the school year, incidents from Friday through Wednesday are printed in the Thursday edition, while incidents from Wednesday and Thursday appear in the Monday edition. This police blotter includes crimes that occurred since the last print edition of The Eagle, published June 21. Please direct questions to the campus news editor at Campus@TheEagleOnline.com.

Monday, June 21 A vehicle accident took place outside Congressional Hall involving an AU vehicle. Public Safety responded from 10:28 a.m.-2:33 p.m.

An alcohol violation was reported at 4:10 p.m. inside Mary Graydon Center.

Wednesday, June 23 A theft from inside Bender Library was reported at 10:49 a.m.

A suspicious package was found near the Tenley campus shuttle stop. Public Safety responded from 6:10-6:55 p.m.

Thursday, June 24 Harassment by phone was reported from inside Anderson Hall at 4:55 p.m.

Saturday, June 26 A hospital transport from Leonard Hall was required. Public Safety responded from 10:27-10:48 p.m.

Monday, June 28 An attempt to commit a nonviolent crime occurred outside and at the rear of the School of International Service Annex. Public Safety responded from 5:40-6:41 p.m.

A hospital transport from Terrace Dining Room in MGC was required. Public Safety responded from 6:19-6:56 p.m.

Wednesday, June 30 Harassment in person was reported at 6:33 p.m. and 6:38 p.m. Public Safety filed a report.

Thursday, July 1 Theft from an automobile in the Nebraska Lot was reported. Public Safety responded from 5:14-5:34 p.m.

Saturday, July 3 Disorderly conduct outside the SIS Building was reported at 12:41 a.m. Public Safety filed a report.

Disorderly conduct outside Anderson Hall was reported at 12:14 p.m. Public Safety responded from then until 1:26 p.m. Tuesday, July 6

Property missing from the fifth floor of the Brandywine building was reported at 4:31 p.m. Public Safety responded until 5:34 p.m.

A hospital transport from the lobby of the Constitution Building was required. Public Safety responded from 8:10 to 8:46 p.m.

Wednesday, July 7 A burglary without forcible entry took place in Congressional Hall. Public Safety responded between 10:33 and 11:23 a.m.

Harassment in person was reported in Centennial Hall. Public Safety responded until 12:30 p.m.

Thursday, July 8 Damage to an automobile at Glover Gate on Massachusetts Avenue was reported at 8:47 a.m. Public Safety responded until 9:18 a.m. The cause is unknown.
