Students, faculty 'Celebrate AU' on Quad

Many students enjoyed hot dogs, hamburgers, funnel cake, pretzels and snow cones on the Quad provided by the University as part of the Celebrate AU event. The event that kicks off the school year was held on Friday after it was postponed from Wednesday due to rain. President Benjamin Ladner and Vice President of Campus Life Gail Hanson were among those from the administration who were seen at the event in front of the Kay Spiritual Life Center. Celebrate AU is an annual tradition started in 2002 to welcome new students and allow returning students and faculty to mingle.
