Thumbs Up

Job scene looking up ... A National Association of Colleges and Employers survey predicts employers will hire about 13 percent more college graduates this year. Now to paying those loans....

Wednesday TDR ... TDR seems to save the best for midweek every week, breaking out the big meat slicer. Those weekly meats and mashed potatoes really bring up the overall dining quality of AU. Keep up the good work down there.

AUTO online registration ... AUTO addressed the claims that it was difficult to book with, setting up an online form to register a ride. Hopefully this will make for a much smoother process for campus groups to request service.

Thumbs Down

Metro delays ... With construction still going on for the planned New York Avenue stop, the Red Line has been wildly inconsistent. Let's just hope the new stop opens soon, so the Red Line gets back on a reasonable schedule.

Rat proliferation on campus ... The rats seem to be getting bigger, and they walk all around campus like they own the place. Unless the rats start paying the five grand for on-campus housing, AU needs to take care of the vermin.

Bandwagon Red Sox fans ... There's no way every rioter on campus was from the Massachusetts area. We understand why so many people rooted against the Yankees in the previous round, but joining in the celebration for a team you didn't like two months ago is just sports dishonesty.

Section 202 hosts Connor Sturniolo and Gabrielle McNamee are joined by fellow Eagle staff member and phenomenal sports photographer, Josh Markowitz. Follow along as they discuss the United Football League and the benefits it provides for the world of professional football.
