Dear Editor:
Monday's edition of The Eagle had Serena Parcell end her letter with the quote "My fellow Democrats and I will try do the same when we take power again in 2008." That is why Democrats lost the election and are now the minority party in America. Throughout the election on campus, liberals arrogantly acted as if John Kerry was the Savior. Posters for "Watch Good triumph over Evil" for the debates and "Come to the Kerry Victory party in Ward" for the election only showed the hubris of College Democrats. Optimism and good spirits are one thing, but to blatantly claim victory and moral superiority is plain obnoxious.
