Caught with your pants down: Giving gifts of love

Holiday time to rekindle old flames

It's officially the holiday season, that annual time of festivity and fretting over what to get your significant other. Or perhaps it's a season of wondering how you'll react when you go home and see old flames and the casual hookups that didn't matter this summer and have suddenly taken on a deeper meaning after being away for months to ponder what that one night really meant - or how you're horny and can't wait to get home to guaranteed booty. However, that guaranteed hometown booty can be more complicated than you'd think.

What happens when you finally get to see that special someone from over the summer? Most people don't expect flings to go beyond their warm weather lifespan. I've got some news: When you casually hook up with someone before leaving for school anticipating another consequence-free conquest, things can get messy. Do you hook up with that person over break? Do you have time and want to? Try chatting with him or her or them casually online before you get home to get a feel for the situation before you're caught up in something you don't want.

And flings aren't the only emotional obstacles waiting at home. Freshmen, especially, will be faced with the exes they left behind to start school. Holiday cheer can be misleading, as can forgetting your friends and hookups at school. Don't jump back into anything. All relationships end for a reason, and usually a good reason. Think it through before restarting a full-fledged relationship.

If you do have a steady relationship or a special booty buddy, on the other hand, it's time to deck the halls and play with his balls; light some candles and light her fire.

As a person who prides herself on purchasing just the right randy gifts, I feel obligated to share some suggestions on what will create all of the holiday magic that the season is supposed to bring.

My favorite purchase so far this year is porn for each of my two favorite guys. Porn can open a whole new world of experimentation and intimacy for individuals and couples. It's all about the convenience of inviting sexperts into the comfort of your bedroom. Keep in mind, the key to making the gift memorable is finding out the recipient's pornographic preferences. It makes the gift more intimate and even thoughtful if you show sensitivity to the person's tastes and comfort level. One guy I purchased for requested "hot chicks" - an easy desire to fulfill. The other lucky guy wanted "a gang bang with hot chicks but without fake blondes." It was tricky finding porn without babes who hit the bottle (of peroxide). If you're going to pursue porn, I recommend searching online to ensure the widest selection possible. Adultdvdempire.com offers a wide selection, excellent search tools, and customer reviews. Allsexreviews.com provides more in-depth critiques and ratings.

Another great gift option is toys. Shoppers can find anything from mild to wild to suit their partner's tastes. A mild option for couples looking to become more intimate and spice up their sex life is a new flavored lubricant. The most popular gift selections are vibrators and dildos. Many men I know are afraid of purchasing a dildo or vibrator for their partners; they fear battery-powered competition. An alternative for such hesitant shoppers is to investigate non-phallic vibrators. Take the time to browse Pleasure Palace and ask their friendly staff for help. Purchasing in person is essential to knowing exactly what you're getting. Small bullet vibes are a fantastic gift that couples can use together to enhance sexual experiences without either partner feeling threatened or inadequate.

If these racier presents don't seem to fit with the tamer presents under the tree, lingerie can be sweet or downright sultry. Choices range from a tame nightie from Victoria's Secret to tarted-up costumes from Frederick's of Hollywood. And really, we all know that purchasing lingerie for a significant other has an ulterior motive of being thanked for your gift later that night. For the more exhibitive and dramatic, lingerie can tap into role play that will bring your relationship to new levels. Happy holidays and happy shopping!
