Police Blotter

Monday, Feb. 7

A female student reported a theft off campus. She was attending an off-campus party and left her North Face jacket unattended. When she returned, it was missing.

Tuesday, Feb. 8

Harassment was reported in Letts Hall. A group of students wrote the message "Drug Nazi" on a resident assistant's white board.

A female student required a hospital transport from Mary Graydon Center. She passed out, but when officers arrived the student was coherent. She complained of a tingling sensation in her left arm. Bethesda-Chevy Chase Rescue Squad was called, and the student was transported to Georgetown Hospital.

A male student reported an off-campus theft. The temporary tags on his vehicle were stolen.

Wednesday, Feb. 9

A female student who had been drinking refused medical treatment in Centennial Hall. A neighbor called 911 directly and the D.C. Fire Department responded. Public Safety met them at the scene.

Defacing property was reported in the McKinley Building. Aramark removed graffiti from a third-floor wall.

Thursday, Feb. 10

Bender Library staff members reported graffiti after finding a detached Thermostat cover with words describing female genitalia etched into it.

A male student required a hospital transport from Ward Circle Building. He slipped, fell and struck his head on the floor. He was transported to Sibley Hospital.

A female student reported burglary and fraud in McDowell Hall. She said cash and a credit card were stolen from her room, which she had left unlocked. She cancelled her card and no further charges were applied.

Defacing property was reported in Ward Circle Building. Near the door to the roof, arrows and the words "The End" were written in red marker. Aramark was called to clean up the graffiti.

A female student reported missing property in Mary Graydon Center. She lost her keys and ID card in TDR. The items were located and held at TDR. The items were given to another student who claimed she knew the female who had lost them. The items have not been recovered.

Public Safety officers reported two male students for an alcohol violation in Beeghly Chemistry Building. The students were drinking beer in a classroom. They were cited for being under 21 and violating the school's alcohol policy.
