Thumbs up

Artemas Ward Festival ... This year's Ward Festival, held last week, featured a series of fun and interesting events, from John Edwards' speech to the Grill on the Green. Good job to the SC for organizing it.

'Night at the Apollo' ... This event, sponsored by FLY, took place in the Tavern on Saturday night, and featured poetry, song and other fun events.

Multicultural graduation ... This event demonstrates and celebrates the diversity of the AU student body.

Thumbs down

Air conditioning not yet turned on in dorms ... We are eight days from the end of classes. Exactly what are they waiting for?

Fire alarms turned off in McDowell for Tuesday night's event ... We understand that with Jimmy Carter and other dignitaries being here, it's a big deal. But considering the safety problems we've been having on campus, how wise is it to turn off the fire alarms and the ID card scanners at the door of McDowell Hall?

Dead grass on the Quad from all the inflatable toys ... Just days after Campus Beautification Day, huge inflatables flattened the grass beneath, creating unsightly patches and creases.

Section 202 hosts Connor Sturniolo and Gabrielle McNamee are joined by fellow Eagle staff member and phenomenal sports photographer, Josh Markowitz. Follow along as they discuss the United Football League and the benefits it provides for the world of professional football.
