Thumbs up

D.C. Preparedness... We're glad that D.C. has a plan for any potential disasters. Being able to stay put is a plus as long as TDR is fully stocked.

Chicken Tenders... They're selling like hotcakes in the Tavern. Too bad we can't get them every Saturday night in TDR. Don't get too attached, though. Housing & Dining could deem them "temporary" and axe them ala Chick-fil-A.

Mud Box... When most students finally enter the library around December, they'll be able to burn the midnight oil with a cup of joe. Whatever student won the $500, we wish you congratulations.

Thumbs down

Taxi Tax... Katrina and gas prices are now going to cost you an extra $1.50 when the jitney picks you up. If you're taking a taxi, which is already overpriced, suck it up. Otherwise Metro it up with the rest of us commoners.

Slacking Off... Can it be happening already? Not even a month into school and no one wants to do work. Enjoy it while you can, folks.

Campus Cold Season... Apparently the common cold is traipsing the halls of residence halls across campus. Remember, you're living with 40 other people and their germs. So wash your hands!

Section 202 hosts Connor Sturniolo and Gabrielle McNamee are joined by fellow Eagle staff member and phenomenal sports photographer, Josh Markowitz. Follow along as they discuss the United Football League and the benefits it provides for the world of professional football.
