Summer via snapshot

Lazy summer days and their corresponding carefree nights served as perfect subjects for photographic revelry, and these members of the Scene staff wasted no time grabbing their cameras and shooting away. Whether it was capturing the lesser-known corners of D.C. or exploring the Big Apple, we came back to AU with tons of additions to our photo portfolios and personal collections.

We know we aren't the only ones who photographically document our everyday lives, so after perusing our work, submit your own! The Scene will now feature a different photo every Monday, handpicked from your submissions. Sitting on some great summer photos, or just itching to get your work published? Email your photos and a caption (maximum 100 words), along with your full name and school, to eaglephoto@gmail.com.

Flickr users can join the American University photo pool, and all Flickr photos tagged "eagleonline" will be reviewed for publication. For more information, visit the Flickr photo site at http://www.flickr.com.

Section 202 hosts Connor Sturniolo and Gabrielle McNamee are joined by fellow Eagle staff member and phenomenal sports photographer, Josh Markowitz. Follow along as they discuss the United Football League and the benefits it provides for the world of professional football.
