In its Oct. 24 issue, The Eagle reported that "On a Sensual Note" performed a concert in Kay this past weekend. AU's entire a cappella community came together on Sunday in Kay, in a performance that included three different groups, Dime a Dozen, On a Sensual Note and Treble in Paradise. The individual featured in the picture is not Zia Hassan but Caleb Smith, a sophomore CLEG major. Also, On a Sensual Note is traveling for singing competitions, but not to Massachusetts. Dime a Dozen is traveling to Massachusetts. The Eagle apologizes for these errors.
In an Oct. 17 article, entitled, "AUCC finalizes allocations after restructuring," The Eagle would like to clarify that Student Activities, not the Student Government, approves all clubs and associations before they can apply for budgets.
Also, AUCC chair Purti Bali wanted to clarify the limits placed on amounts allocated to each club or association. Under AUCC rules, clubs can receive up to 5 percent of the total budget, and associations can receive up to 10 percent of the total budget. This year, those amounts are equal to $5,000 and $10,000, respectively, which the Eagle correctly reported. The Eagle apologizes for these errors.
