All thumbs

Thumbs up...

One-Millionth Book... Bender Library recently received a special delivery: book number one million. No word yet on how useful students will find it, but there's a lot of books like that over there.

Mickey D's health labels... Rumor has it that the fast food giant will start to label their burgers with health information. Now you can feel even worse about that Big Mac. Subway, anyone?

TDR Chicken Tenders... If you were awake before or around noon this past Saturday, you probably were treated to something that hasn't happened in TDR for a while: chicken tenders! Fill out comment cards outside TDR and tell Ted to keep the chicken coming!

Thumbs down...

Secret CIA prisons... Apparently our spooks are housing prisoners away from the eyes of the public and much of the government. Understandable in a war, but let's hope we don't have another "Panty Raid" a la Abu Graib.

"Get Whitey" Parties... White hipsters in Brooklyn have been dressing having hip-hop parties in entirely white parties. Some say it's only fun, detractors say the kids are flaunting their white privilege. Why can't we all just get along?

Internet interruption... A problem with PEPCO may have caused your internet to run slower than Tommy Maddox trying to recover a fumble. It should be worked out soon, and we can go back to not doing our work.

Section 202 hosts Connor Sturniolo and Gabrielle McNamee are joined by fellow Eagle staff member and phenomenal sports photographer, Josh Markowitz. Follow along as they discuss the United Football League and the benefits it provides for the world of professional football.
