Thursday, Nov. 10

Drug paraphernalia was confiscated from a male student in Anderson Hall. The item tested positive for marijuana.

Employees of one of the shops in the Tunnel contacted Public Safety, asking that a university employee be removed from the shop. The individual was gone when Public Safety arrived.

A student became stuck in an elevator in Letts Hall. The D.C. Fire Department was contacted, and the student was freed safely.

Friday, Nov. 11

A fire alarm sounded in Anderson Hall at 4:04 a.m. There was no sign of smoke or fire, and malicious activity is suspected.

A female staff member reported that her wallet had been stolen from the Sports Center.

Saturday, Nov. 12

An intoxicated female student required a transport from Hughes Hall to Sibley Hospital.

An RA reported vandalism in an elevator in Capital Hall. Wires had been pulled out of the control panel and strewn about the elevator's interior.

A female student reported that her bicycle had been stolen from outside the Hurst Building.

A member of the Terrace Dining Room staff reported that an intoxicated male was harassing a student in the Letts-Anderson Quad. The intoxicated male was not affiliated with the university, and was barred from university property.

Sunday, Nov. 13

A woman unaffiliated with AU reported that her friend, a female student, had been sexually assaulted in Capital Hall. The Metro Police Department was contacted to take her statement and proceed with the investigation.

A student in Letts Hall was experiencing severe abdominal pain and was transported to Sibley Hospital.

Monday, Nov. 14

A visitor unaffiliated with the university was found unconscious in the Letts-Anderson Quad. Public Safety roused the individual from his slumber and sent him on his way, along with the student he was visiting.

A female Aramark employee reported abdominal pain while working in the Ward Circle Building. She was transported to Sibley Hospital.

One student became trapped in an elevator in Leonard Hall. The D.C. Fire Department was contacted, and the student was freed safely.

A female student had a seizure in the Public Safety Office. The student was transported to Sibley Hospital.

A fire alarm was pulled in Anderson Hall at 5:17 p.m. There was no sign of smoke or fire, and malicious activity is suspected.

A crowd formed outside the Butler Board Room during a meeting of the Board of Trustees. Additional officers were sent to the scene, and the crowd dispersed peacefully.

A student in Hughes Hall, who had visited the Student Health Center earlier that day, reported dizziness and was transported to Sibley Hospital.

Reports were received from Capital Hall that a male student was exposing himself in the building. Public Safety was unable to locate the student, and he has not been identified.

Tuesday, Nov. 15

A concerned individual provided an anonymous tip that a student in Leonard Hall might be making preparations to hurt herself in some way. Officers spoke with the woman and determined that the scene could be cleared.

A male staff member reported that he was being harrassed over the phone by a female not affiliated with AU. The woman was calling him repeatedly, to the point where it was interfering with his normal life. Officers spoke to the woman and asked her to stop calling the staff member. She agreed and the calls stopped.

A man was barred from the Washington College of Law for suspicious activity.

A female staff member fell in the Clark Parking Lot. Officers responded, but the staff member was not in need of medical assistance. The staff member signed the medical refusal form and the scene was cleared.
