The hit list

1. Risk If we stick to reality, you and me and everyone we know will never be considered a candidate for global domination. But in the alternate universe known as Risk, the world is for your taking, even the breadbasket of 18th century Eurasia, Ural. Can you rewrite the history of the world with Mousetrap? In most respects, no. Never.

2. D.C. Film Festival With an emphasis on Brazilian and hip-hop-influenced films, this year's festival will likely not include "Problem Child" or any of its sequels. If we didn't lose you yet, you should still check out the fest, which runs until April 30th. For more information, check out filmfestdc.org.

3. 'True Lies' Why would a film from 1994 garner the Hit List's attention? Perhaps because it is the perfect action dramedy, or that it features Tom Arnold, Tia Carrere and James Cameron at their best. One might ask what the best Arnold movie is? Any answer besides this would be a "true lie."

4. The American University library In what truly is an underrated mecca of knowledge, nothing will be a better friend during finals week - besides Adderall and caffeine pills. Check out the Mud Box's Final Perk event on May 3 from 8 to 10 p.m. and grab some sustenance to keep those academic juices flowing (last year there were coolers full of Red Bull, no lie).

5. Course Registration Getting tired of that professor with the lisp on Tuesdays and Fridays at 11:20? We are, too. So get excited for course registration, where you can make sure you never have to get up before 2 p.m., if you so choose. If only there were a guide to class selection, done in a very snarky way? Ho-hum.
