Stephanie M. Bennett-Smith was the first female president of New Jersey's Centenary College. Now in retirement, she serves as the board secretary to the United Methodist Higher Education Foundation's board of trustees and serves on several other university and philanthropic boards.
David R. Drobis was president of the public relations firm Ketchum from 1982-1994 and CEO of the company from 1994-2001. Drobis received his master's degree from AU and also began his career here, writing press releases for university relations. He was named among the top 10 most influential people in public relations in the 20th century by the trade publication PRWeek.
Gisela B. Huberman, a Washington College of Law alum and former AU professor, is also an author, attorney, owner of telecommunications towers and a former principal owner of 13 radio stations. She is a member of AU's Arts Advisory Council and has been a significant contributor to the Katzen Arts Center.
C. Nicholas Keating Jr. is the president and CEO of Network Equipment Technologies, Inc., a provider of networking products and services. Mr. Keating holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from AU and was both a Fulbright scholar to Mexico and a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army.
Arthur J. Rothkopf is the senior vice president and counselor to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce president. He is also president emeritus of Lafayette College in Pennsylvania and is the director of two for-profit companies, Bristol West Holdings and Insurance Services Office, Inc.
Mark L. Schneider is the senior vice president of the nonprofit International Crisis Group. Mr. Schneider served as the director of the Peace Corps from 1999-2001 and has held political roles in the Carter administration and as an advisor to Senator Ted Kennedy, D-Mass. He received an Honorary Doctor of Laws degree from the Washington College of Law in 2000.
Neal A. Sharma is the CEO of Digital Evolution Group, an Internet consulting agency. Mr. Sharma was president of the student government at AU and graduated cum laude in 1998.
