Swimming reschedules meet against Howard

Due to a scheduling conflict, American University swimming and diving's home meet versus Howard University set for Friday has been postponed. No makeup date has been set as the Eagles will return to action at the GMU Quad Meet in Fairfax, Va. this Saturday at 1 p.m.

Wrestlers move up ranks

American University wrestlers Adam LoPiccolo and Josh Glenn both moved up in the latest Intermat/NWCA rankings, retaining their top-10 national status.

LoPiccolo moved up from No. 6 to No. 5 among heavyweights, registering the highest ranking of his career. He leads the EIWA in wins and wins by fall, earning 28 and 14 for each category respectively. Having collected 74 wins in his career at AU, he is tied for 10th all-time in wins in school history.

Glenn, who went 4-0 last week and improved his record to 13-1, took the No. 6 spot after being previously ranked at No. 9 in the 197 lb. class.

Redshirt freshman Mike Cannon remained in the top20, falling from No. 17 to No. 18.

The 7-6 Eagles also received votes in the team poll for the fifth straight week.

Section 202 hosts Connor Sturniolo and Gabrielle McNamee are joined by fellow Eagle staff member and phenomenal sports photographer, Josh Markowitz. Follow along as they discuss the United Football League and the benefits it provides for the world of professional football.
