Corrections and Clarifications from March 1

In an article titled "SG waives exec credit requirements," it was incorrectly stated that some members of the Undergraduate Senate favored waiving the 45-credit SG executive candidacy limit for freshman David Manzanares so the SG secretary race would not be uncontested. Although this was incorrect at press time, secretary candidate Amy McConnell has since dropped out of the race, which means the race would have in fact been uncontested had Manzanares not been waived to run. The Eagle apologizes for this error.

In an article titled "University vacancies impeded some SG goals," it was incorrectly calculated that the recent Founder's Day Ball cost $35,000, "or about $700 per person in attendance." The correct per person cost was $70. Additionally, it was stated that this semester "the library changed its closing time on Thursday evenings from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m." In reality, the Thursday closing time changed from midnight to 2 a.m. The Eagle apologizes for these errors.

A headline on the sports page incorrectly labeled a photo of the DVCHC -champion women's ice hockey team. The headline should have read, "Women's ice hockey wins DVCHC Championship." The Eagle apologizes for this error.
