Dorm Recipe: Quesadillas provide quick, simple snack

Cheese quesadillas Preparation time: 5 minutes Serving size: 2 people

If you are looking for a light snack that is easy to prepare during the day or in the evening, try simple cheese quesadillas. With only two ingredients, this is the simplest recipe yet. In just five minutes, you can make several types of tasty quesadillas. One of the best things about this snack is that you can customize it, using whatever flavors you prefer and add anything from chicken, sour cream, salsa and lettuce. This snack is versatile enough for one person or even a small get-together. Guten Appetit!

Ingredients

  • 2 flour tortillas
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese
  • Cooking Instructions
  • 1 Preheat skillet.

Cooking Instructions

1 Preheat skillet.

2 Place 1/2 cup of cheese on one end of the tortilla. Fold the other end over the cheese. Repeat with the second tortilla.

3 Place both tortillas in the skillet. Flip after 3-4 minutes and wait another 2-3 minutes before taking out.
