Edgar Meza last week resigned as executive chair of the Graduate Leadership Council, according to Kimberly Herrera, Student Activities adviser for the council.
Meza, a graduate student in the Kogod School of Business, became head of the GLC over the summer break and was one of the people who met with finalists for the university's presidential search.
Alexis Bawden, a graduate student in Kogod and the School of International Service, took over as executive chair following Meza's resignation. Previously, she was the council's vice chair, Herrera said.
College of Arts and Sciences Graduate Council President Kalfani Ture is the council's new vice chair, while Hope Walker took over as CAS graduate council chair, Herrera said.
Bawden responded to The Eagle but was unable to respond to questions before press time. Meza did not respond to a request for comment.
