The leaders of the Student Government, Graduate Leadership Council and Student Bar Association have chosen David Teslicko, a junior in the School of International Service and School of Public Affairs, as their nominee to be the university's third student trustee.
Teslicko is a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon, former SG comptroller and a former member of the AU Club Council.
Former SG President Joe Vidulich said he and the other leaders were impressed with Teslicko.
Vidulich said he was "really impressed" with Teslicko's academic pursuits.
Vidulich said Teslicko was one of 15 people who applied for the student trustee position, many of whom were undergraduate students.
The board of trustees' Trusteeship Committee and United Methodist Church's General Board of Higher Education and Ministry will need to approve Teslicko before he becomes the new student trustee.
