U.S. Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, USA Today Editor in Chief Ken Paulson, National Geographic oceanographer Sylvia Earle and businessman Vernon Jordan Jr. will be the speakers at AU's commencement ceremonies next month.
Breyer will speak during the Washington College of Law ceremony at 1 p.m. on May 18. Earle will speak during the College of Arts and Sciences ceremony at 1 p.m. on May 11, while Jordan will speak during the joint School of Public Affairs and Kogod School of Business ceremony at 9 a.m. the same day. Paulson will speak during the School of Communication and School of International Service ceremony at 4:30 p.m. on May 11. All commencement ceremonies will take place in Bender Arena, according to AU Media Relations Director Maralee Csellar.
