Dear readers,
As the school year draws to a close, The Eagle is in a time of transition like many of you. I am pleased to introduce you all to The Eagle's editor in chief for the 2008-2009 school year, Jimm Phillips. Jimm, who worked as the managing editor for news this past semester, has worked at The Eagle since his freshman year as a staff writer, assistant editor and desk editor. Jimm has shown his dedication to the paper over the last three years, and I know he will bring that same dedication and experience to the position next year.
I have truly enjoyed serving as your editor in chief this year. I wish all of you the best of luck next year, whether you are still in school or starting your careers.
