The Student Government Board of Elections ruled today that the voting period for the fall 2008 election will now begin Wednesday morning.
Voting will now last from 9 a.m. Wednesday until 5 p.m. Thursday, according to BOE Vice Chair Jared Dashoff. The positions up for election include all seats on the Undergraduate Senate, AU school and class councils, as well as seats on the School of International Service Senate.
The BOE had originally scheduled the voting period to last from Monday morning until Tuesday afternoon, but had to postpone the election due to technical difficulties. All voting will continue to occur through the my.american.edu portal. People who voted on Monday before the BOE suspended the election will need to vote again in order for their selections to count, Dashoff said in an e-mail.
