The Student Advocacy Center will hold a Judicial Affairs and Mediation Services forum Thursday to allow students to state their concerns with JAMS policies.
"The SAC is holding the forum to bring to light the students' perception of JAMS," said SAC Director Emily Whelden.
The forum is important because it will help SAC with any policy it will initiate this year, and she believes the students voices need to be heard, she said.
"I sincerely hope that this forum has an impact on JAMS policy," Whelden said. "I would not be sponsoring the event if I did not think that student's voices needed to be heard."
The forum will consist of two parts - first, a presentation by JAMS Assistant Director Christy Anthony and then a question-and-answer segment. Students will be able to directly ask Anthony and Whelden questions about JAMS policies and SAC's role in the JAMS process, according to Whelden.
The event begins at 7 p.m. in Mary Graydon Center, room 5.
