Brazillian film week to begin this week

The Greenberg Theatre will host the second annual Brazilian Film Week from Thursday through Sunday.

The Brazilian Embassy will present the festival with the assistance of Ilda Santiago, the artistic director of the Rio International Film Festival, according to the Brazilian Embassy's Web site.

The event will feature six full-length films as well as several other shorter films.

Audience members will have the opportunity to meet and speak with some of the actors, actresses and directors who worked on the movies.

The event is free and open to the public. Seats are granted on a first come, first serve basis, and there will be an opening night reception starting at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
