Corrections

Correction for Nov. 10

In the corrections from the Nov. 10 issue, The Eagle incorrectly corrected the listing of organizations that co-sponsored the Nov. 4 Election Night Extravaganza. The organizations that co-sponsored the event are: The Student Government, AU College Democrats, AU College Republicans, AU Students for Obama, AU Students for McCain, SAVE, Alpha Nu Omega, Inc. and AU NAACP.

Corrections for Nov. 6

In "Tuition to rise next year," The Eagle incorrectly started that tuition increased an average of 2.4 percent nationwide from last year. That figure only relates to the average nationwide increase over the past decade. Additionally, The Eagle incorrectly stated that tuition will increase by 6 percent next year. That figure was based on an advisory figure on the AU Admissions Web site that related to the tuition increase from last year to this year.

Correction for Oct. 27 and Nov. 3

A reader has made us aware that the sudoku puzzles we printed in the Oct. 27 and Nov. 3 issues of The Eagle were unsolvable. We apologize if anyone spent excessive amounts of time attempting to solve the puzzles.

The Eagle regrets these errors.
