Police blotter

Jan. 21 A student reported a stolen wallet from a locked locker in the men's locker room at the Sports Center.

Jan. 22 A student in McDowell Hall experienced severe migraines throughout the day. The D.C. Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services transported the student to Sibley Hospital.

A student in Leonard Hall said she thought she lost consciousness. A laceration on the top left side of her head was later found. She said that her head and stomach caused most of her discomfort. DCFD and EMS transported the student to Sibley Hospital.

An AU employee was involved in a traffic accident in Fairfax, Va. He said he felt fine until he walked to Centennial Hall, when he began to feel disoriented. DCFD transported him to Sibley.

While reaching for a package on a shelf in the Letts mailroom, a student slipped, fell on her back onto another package and hit her head. DCFD transported her to Sibley Hospital.

Jan. 23 DCFD transported an individual in Anderson Hall who showed symptoms of intoxication to Georgetown Hospital. A witness said the individual consumed five shots of vodka at an off-campus party.

A student lost consciousness in Centennial, after a witness said the student drank several mixed drinks containing alcohol at an off-campus event. DCFD transported the student to Sibley.

Jan. 24 A Public Safety officer found graffiti on a wall near the glass doors of the Fitness Center hallway. The officer took photos and Aramark was contacted to remove the graffiti.

DCFD and Public Safety responded to a report of an unconscious student in the School of International Service building. The student said she briefly fainted due to a panic attack, which she said occurs on a regular basis. She signed a medical refusal form.

Jan. 25 DPS responded to a report of an intoxicated student and discovered a small amount of vomit in a restroom stall in Anderson. Shortly thereafter, the student was found in his residence hall room. The student was conscious, coherent and able to walk on his own. He said that he consumed alcohol at an off-campus location. It was determined his health was not at risk. The student signed a medical refusal form.

A student indicated he felt ill and fainted while walking back to his room from the restroom in Anderson. DCFD transported him to Sibley.

Jan. 26 A student left her wallet in Bender Library. When she returned an hour later, the wallet was gone. She reported the incident when she noticed that a card was used.

Jan. 27 A student left his laptop computer in a Mary Graydon Center bathroom. When he returned, it was no longer there.

A student woke up not feeling well. She lost consciousness going to a restroom. Two hours later, she went to the Student Health Center. DCFD transported her to Sibley.

A student found and reported an obscene flier on a door next to her room in Anderson. The poster contained a sexually explicit picture. The matter was referred to Housing and Dining Programs for a possible Judicial Affairs and Mediation Services referral.

A student reported receiving harassing calls on a cell phone.

An employee reported approximately 24 fish were removed from a fish tank located at her desk in an office in the Asbury Building in which the doors were secured and an alarm system was activated. The employee indicated she noticed fish missing on past occasions but did not report those incidents to Public Safety.

Two roommates reported their iPods missing from their residence hall room in Letts. They said they believe their room has always been locked when left unattended. One roommate noticed items in the room were out of place when she returned to the room. No damage was noticed to their door.

DCFD transported a student to Sibley with flu-like symptoms.
