The Kogod School of Business has been inducted into the Consortium of Undergraduate International Business Education (CUIBE), according to an AU press release.
CUIBE is a group of 11 "nationally recognized international business programs" that strive to "promote, enhance, and innovate" the way business is taught to college students, according to the Center for International Business Education and Research Web site.
Kogod's entrance into CUIBE verifies the school's excellence, said Frank DuBois, chairman of Kogod's International Business department.
"Kogod's accession to full CUIBE membership is confirmation not only of the quality of our international business programs and curriculum but also the faculty who are committed to understanding the dynamic of the global marketplace," he said in the press release.
CUIBE has criteria that all of its members must fulfill in order to become a part of the group.
All international business schools that are part of CUIBE must have an Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business accreditation, an international business degree program, an international business club, and must also offer abroad study programs to their students.
