A D.C. man wearing only a T-shirt and boxers escaped from police custody Saturday by crawling through the ceiling of a restroom at a hospital, The Washington Post reported.
Corey Harrison crawled through the ceiling to another room at the United Medical Center in Southeast D.C., representatives from MPD said in the article. He then escaped the hospital into temperatures in the low- to mid-30s.
Harrison was also wearing a handcuff on his wrist when he escaped.
Police had arrested Harrison on charges relating to a paternity support, the Post reported, but it was not immediately known why he was at the hospital.
