WPI adds ambassador in residence

The School of Public Affairs has recently included former Rep. Connie Morella, R-Md., as the ambassador in residence for the Women and Politics Institute, according to an AU press release.

Morella has been a professor for 15 years, and currently teaches the SPA course "Women, Politics and Public Policy."

Karen O'Connor, founder of WPI and an SPA professor, said in the press release that she is very happy Morella has decided to take on the new role.

"We are thrilled to have Ambassador Morella join SPA and the Women & Politics Institute," she said.

Morella received her master's degree from SPA in 1967.
