AUTO Commissioner Cory Ward announced his resignation in a letter to the AU Student Government Tuesday, Aug. 25, according to an SG press release.
"Ward decided to resign due to time restraints and personal reasons that he wanted kept private," the release said.
"It is unfortunate Cory had to resign," said SG President Andy MacCracken. "Cory was planning some great things for AUTO, but we understand his need to focus on more pressing things affecting him right now."
Comptroller Matt Handverger will be acting as AUTO commissioner until he appoints another student to fill the position.
