A near-record number of students, 1,411, voted in the fall Student Government Senate and student councils elections. Some positions are waiting for write-in candidates to accept their election before the final results are announced, but at least ten of the recently-elected senators are incumbents. Mickey Mouse, Edward Cullen and the Lizard People also received write-in nominations, but they are not eligible for election, said the Board of Elections Chair Savonia Vassel.
