Crime Alert: Anderson Hall Burglaries

The Department of Public Safety has received several reports of burglaries from residence hall rooms in Anderson Hall while the occupants slept. Laptop computers and earphones were stolen. No injuries have been reported. There are no descriptions of the suspect/s at this time.

If you have information relating to these incidents, or witness suspicious activity, please call the Department of Public Safety at 202-885-3636 or 911 for the Metropolitan Police Department.

To reduce your chances of becoming a victim of theft: •Do not leave your doors unlocked, even for brief periods of time. •Do not let anyone follow you into the residence halls, or admit anyone as a guest unless they are your guest. •Report lost keys to the Department of Public Safety immediately.
