After a decade of feel-good pop-rock hits, The All-American Rejects have finally decided to break away from their decade old sound with the release of their new album “Kids in the Street.”
Praised by critics as the band’s long awaited “coming-to-age” record, singles such as “Bleed Into Your Mind,” and “Affection” show a level of maturity much different than previous singles such as “Gives You Hell” and “Dirty Little Secret.” Other singles like “Beekeeper’s Daughter,” which was featured in a recent episode of “90210,” show that The All-American Rejects can still deliver the catchy mindless songs they are known for.
The All-American Rejects will bring their new sound to the 9:30 club on Sunday, April 15. After taking some time off to produce their album, the band will be making their much-awaited return to D.C. alongside band A Rocket to the Moon for a guitar-heavy show.
