We as an organization would like to make it clear that Phi Sigma Kappa Epsilon Triton does not condone the T-shirts mentioned in "Mind what you're wearing not what they're eating." These shirts are five years old, and our organization has already been punished for them.
Anyone who knows what the fraternity was like five years ago can attest to the fact that we have made huge strides to contribute positively to Greek life at AU and will continue to do so. The brother in question, spotted wearing the shirt at the gym, is an alumnus of our chapter. Our active brothers no longer possess these shirts and know that the message that these shirts portray is unacceptable.
As young men with family members, friends and girlfriends who have faced the despair of eating disorders we know they are no laughing matter. We would like to apologize to anyone who has been offended by these shirts and will do everything we can to make sure they cease to exist.
