Taste of Peru is a cultural festival held in Washington, D.C. that celebrates Peruvian culture and the influence it has on chefs all over the country. The event hosts local and international chefs who create Peruvian dishes.
The festival will also host the Peruvian Taste of Fashion Day, a fashion show that will present Carola Solis and Mechy Chuquillanqui, two Peruvian designers who will showcase their new clothing lines.
The event will be held Sunday, June 4 at the University of the District of Columbia from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. General admission tickets are $15 and VIP/fastpass tickets are $40. Children under 10 are free. Food, beverage, and other products are not included with admission; prices range from $3-$10.
Tickets for the Peruvian Taste of Fashion Day need to be purchased separately for $60. Access to the event will begin at 1 p.m. The fashion show will begin at 3 p.m. Tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis due to limited capacity. They may be purchased online in advance on Taste of Peru’s website. No children are allowed in the fashion show.
