The Eagle

Author: Trent Burns

Trent has been writing for The Eagle since his freshman year. Now a junior, this is his second semester as The Scene’s Music Editor. An SIS convert, he is now pursuing a double major in the School of Communications (Public Relations & Strategic Communications, Film & Media Arts). Don’t worry, he still minors in International Studies. He spends his elusive free time watching Rick and Morty, writing new music for his band, Zipliner, and slowly degrading his roommate relationships via intense Mario Kart 8 competition. His taste in music is a constantly evolving sonic smorgasbord, and has been described as “eclectic,” “confusing,” and “altogether nonsensical.” His current obsessions include Dan Deacon, Enemies, Sorority Noise, and Maps & Atlases. Longtime favorites include The Dodos, Delicate Steve, Dr. Dog, and Modest Mouse.
