Student media has received significantly less funding from the University in the last three years. Student media leaders no longer receive stipends for their work, making it difficult for students to take on leadership positions at The Eagle if they can’t afford to work for free.
As The Eagle celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2025, we want to honor this milestone by highlighting the paper's value to the campus community and raising money to secure its future.
Funds raised would be used to restore stipends for The Eagle’s editors and purchase new equipment. The Eagle is also working to increase ad sales, providing another important stream of revenue.
