University President Neil Kerwin said he wants to reassure the community of administrators’ commitment to ensuring all students feel safe and included, a week after news of racist attacks against black female students on campus first surfaced.
With over 400 people in attendance, U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) spoke to a full house on Wednesday about America’s current economic struggles and opportunities for improvement at an event co-hosted by the AU School of Public Affairs and the Kennedy Political Union.
Oliver Stone’s new biopic Snowden covers about 10 years of Edward Snowden’s life, and depicts the major life experiences that led him to leak confidential files belonging to the NSA. The film is set in 2013 in a Hong Kong hotel, where Snowden (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) tells Guardian reporters Glenn Greenwald (Zachary Quinto) and Ewen MacAskill (Tom Wilkinson) as well as documentarian Laura Poitras (Melissa Leo) how he obtained secret NSA files, eventually giving them copies of the information.

If asked about her AU field hockey career, Emilie Ikeda will enthusiastically talk about teammates, friends, coaches and the administration.
