Ray Bowman won the Student Government vice presidential special election Jan. 23, filling in the vacant spot after Julia Reinstein resigned.
Two students are officially running in the Student Government Vice President special election on Jan. 22 and 23. Steven Haderer, a sophomore in the School of Communication, and Ray Bowman, a senior in the School of Public Affairs and SOC, are running for the position, which became vacant after former Student Government Vice President Julia Reinstein resigned in November, the Eagle previously reported.

A gun scare on AU’s campus triggered a two-hour lockdown right before 8 p.m. on Dec. 11 as D.C. Metropolitan Police Department and AU Department of Public Safety officers searched for a possible gunman.

The 2014 Grammy nominations were announced during a live CBS telecast on Dec. 6 at 10 p.m. The show was marred by frequent technical errors, and the nominations were not always pleasantly surprising, but the show had moments of high quality nonetheless.
