PLAYING IN THE RAIN—Senior Colin Zizzi heads the ball in AU’s double overtime thriller. While the game was a draw, it still leaves the Eagles without a loss in the conference. Their next game is Wednesday at Georgetown. The men have a 8-3-2 record overall and 4-0-1 in the Patriot League.

NBA reloads for 2010

Late October is one of those odd periods, where all four major sports are going on at once. William and Mary tops AU volleyball 3-1

AU’s volleyball team looked to finish up an inconsistent non-conference schedule with a win against the College of William and Mary, but the Tribe seemed to have an answer for every American rally. Six teams: NFL's worst

The Oakland Raiders are a mess both on and off the field. JaMarcus Russell has not turned into the franchise quarterback that management thought he would be. Russell has a career quarterback rating of 47.1 and is completing well under 50 percent of his passes. On top of that, his throws miss wide-open receivers by about 15 yards.

Volleyball's year may be determined Friday

Despite losing to the College of William and Mary, the AU volleyball team is more concerned with their next match against Army at West Point on Friday.
