The AU women's volleyball team snapped their 13-game winning streak Tuesday night, falling 3-1 on the road to non-conference opponent Virginia Commonwealth University. The AU Eagles won 2-0 at the U.S. Military Academy on Monday afternoon, clinching a spot in the Patriot League Tournament. After this win, the Eagles improved their record to 8-7-2. Their record in conference play improved to 4-1-1. The Eagles pulled out to an early lead when freshman forward Jack Scott scored just over a minute into the game.

Eagles lose to Colgate, 1-0

The AU men's soccer team dropped a hard-fought decision on the road to Colgate University Saturday, losing to the Red Raiders 1-0. The defeat drops the Eagles record to 7-7-2 on the season and 3-1-1 in the Patriot League. The only scoring of the game came in the fourth minute of the match, as Colgate junior midfielder Alex Weekes took advantage of an Eagle defensive turnover and buried a shot from just outside the 18-yard box past freshman goalkeeper Matt Makowski to give Colgate the 1-0 lead.
